Matcha Whisk
The Matcha whisk, also called a ‘chasen’ has been designed specifically for matcha preparation. This Bamboo Whisk is made with 100 prongs, uniquely made to whisk matcha powder with water to result in a smooth and frothy finish.
Prior to use, ‘bloom’ your bamboo whisk by soaking in warm water for 30-60 seconds, this will help soften the bamboo bristles.
To care for your whisk, rinse with water after each use and leave to air dry. Tip: use a bowl of warm water and whisk gently to remove all excess matcha. No soap or dishwasher is needed.
Note that the exact colour of the bamboo may vary from piece to piece, as each whisk is handcrafted.
